A useful toy RFQ gives the supplier an exact product list, quantity per variant, packaging requirement and delivery destination. Ask for product and freight charges separately, then compare suppliers on the same specification. You can start with the short message below and add details as the selection becomes clear.

Keep pieces, displays and cartons separate
Write quantities in a form both parties can recalculate: '2 displays × 12 pieces per display = 24 individual toys.' On the same line, state whether the requested price is per toy, per set or per complete display, and keep shipping-carton quantity separate. This is a counting example, not a standard pack or a minimum order for every Ruiwo product. Do not let the single word 'box' stand for all three packaging levels.
For standard ready-stock squishies, start with 12 pieces per style; combine colors only when color is the sole difference. Different sizes, shapes or fillings remain separate. See the 12-piece MOQ rules and quantity examples. List custom packaging or decoration separately and ask which minimum each custom component creates. Provide a preferred quantity and one workable alternative against the same specification.
Use a different brief for an existing product and a custom design
For an existing catalog item, start with its exact variant and current unit pack. For a new shape, send your drawing, target dimensions, desired construction and intended quantity. For packaging-only branding, identify the existing product and the artwork or label you want changed.
Ask for development, tooling, samples, packaging and production costs as separate lines where applicable. An image of a character does not establish whether an existing mold can produce it. The custom squishy page is the starting point for a project-specific review.
Confirm what the sample and video represent
A video may communicate a preferred texture without identifying an orderable SKU. State whether you want an internally crunchy filling, a crackable outer wax shell, a soft squeeze or gradual shape recovery. These are different requirements. Ask for the selected sample's outer material, filling and packaging in writing.

Request freight information without guessing the packed size
Request a packing-data row for the exact selection: pieces per carton, carton dimensions, gross weight and expected carton count. Label the figures as an estimate or as final packed measurements, and identify the packaging version they describe. If the pack changes, ask for a replacement row before comparing freight. Product-only dimensions and an old full-carton reference should not silently become the basis for a different order.
If you use a China freight forwarder, provide the warehouse receiving instructions and ask which local handoff charges are included. If you request delivery to your destination, ask the supplier to identify the route, service scope, exclusions and estimated arrival window. Keep the product subtotal and freight quote visible as separate amounts.
Check the supplier's reply before agreeing to the order
- Match every quoted line to the requested SKU and variant.
- Recalculate quantity multiplied by unit price, using the same selling unit.
- Confirm the package and any mixed-style ratio.
- Mark missing charges as “not quoted”; do not assume they are free.
- Separate the estimated dispatch date from arrival at your warehouse.
- Check the payment schedule and quote expiry in the written quotation.
- Resolve substitutions and open sample or document questions before approval.
