Short answer: Compare pumpkin and ghost squishy sizes, weights and carton volumes using listed SKU references. Calculate a clear packing brief before bulk ordering.
Size and carton count can change the best Halloween choice. Compare packed volume as well as the toy’s visual size.
Pumpkin and ghost references
| Reference | Recorded unit fact | Carton reference | Confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| RIVO-HW26-010 Pumpkin Jelly | 100 g reference | 144/carton | Final dimensions and package |
| RIVO-HW26-007 Jumbo Ghost | 100 g reference | 36/carton | Final packed dimensions and gross weight |
The same unit weight does not mean the same carton or shelf footprint. Request a pumpkin/ghost packing comparison.
Pumpkin and ghost squishies can look like a simple character choice. For a wholesale order, their physical specifications matter just as much. Compare product size, unit weight, packed quantity and carton dimensions together before deciding how many cartons your store or warehouse should receive.

Two references in the Halloween wholesale collection show why. They have the same listed pieces per carton and the same stated material combination, but their listed carton sizes and gross weights differ.
Put the two SKU records side by side
| Planning field | Ghost Squishy | Pumpkin Squishy |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Ghost Squishy | Pumpkin Squishy |
| SKU | RIVO-AUG26-003 | RIVO-AUG26-010 |
| Listed size | 16 cm | 14 cm |
| Listed unit weight | 480 g | 380 g |
| Material reference | TPR skin + flour filling | TPR skin + flour filling |
| Pieces per reference carton | 36 | 36 |
| Reference carton dimensions | 53.5 × 38 × 47 cm | 90 × 33.5 × 36.5 cm |
| Reference carton gross weight | 22 kg | 18 kg |
These are catalog planning references checked on September 14, 2026. Confirm them against the final packed sample and quotation before booking transport. Changing a retail box, inner pack or packing method can change the carton plan.
Calculate volume from the carton, not the toy's longest side
A product's listed size does not reveal the space occupied by its shipping carton. Use the external dimensions of the agreed packed carton.
For dimensions in centimeters:
Carton volume in cubic meters = length × width × height ÷ 1,000,000.
Applying that formula to the references above gives:
- Ghost: 53.5 × 38 × 47 ÷ 1,000,000 = 0.095551 m³ per carton.
- Pumpkin: 90 × 33.5 × 36.5 ÷ 1,000,000 = 0.1100475 m³ per carton.
In these records, the shorter and lighter pumpkin toy is associated with a carton that occupies more volume. That does not establish which product is cheaper to ship. It shows why size, gross weight and packing configuration need separate fields in the comparison.
Convert pieces into whole cartons
Suppose a buyer is considering 72 pieces of each SKU. This is a worked planning example, not a minimum order or a confirmed packing offer.
At the listed 36 pieces per carton, the request would correspond to two reference cartons of each product:
| Planning quantity | Ghost | Pumpkin | Combined |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pieces | 72 | 72 | 144 |
| Reference cartons | 2 | 2 | 4 |
| Calculated carton volume | 0.191102 m³ | 0.220095 m³ | 0.411197 m³ |
| Listed gross weight total | 44 kg | 36 kg | 80 kg |
The combined figures do not include an additional pallet, protective overpack or a changed carton arrangement. If those are required, obtain the final shipment measurements instead of adding an assumed allowance.
An order for a quantity that does not divide into whole cartons needs a separate packing answer. Ask how the supplier will handle the remainder; do not assume that mixed products can share a master carton.
Give the forwarder a consistent shipment brief
Provide the same product and packing information to each logistics provider. Include the origin and destination, required service scope, carton count, final dimensions, gross weight and whether the shipment includes pallets or other handling units.
Ask the provider to explain the applicable chargeable-weight or volume basis. Do not apply an arbitrary dimensional-weight divisor to every service. A comparison is useful only when both offers cover the same shipment and handoff responsibilities.
For a fuller cost breakdown, use the wholesale landed-cost guide. Keep this carton worksheet focused on the physical inputs those calculations need.
Check the receiving and selling space too
Shipping is only one use for the figures. Ask the warehouse whether the proposed carton shape suits its receiving area and storage positions. Ask the store to check the packaged product's footprint on the actual shelf or display.
The 16 cm and 14 cm catalog sizes are not retail-box dimensions. Use a packed sample or a verified package drawing when deciding how many items fit across a shelf. A product photograph without a scale cannot settle that question.
If character preference is the unresolved decision, use the cute versus spooky assortment guide. The physical worksheet here complements that decision rather than predicting which character will sell faster.
Ask for the final packing version in the quotation
Before confirming the order, match each SKU to its unit pack, inner pack, master carton, quantity and gross weight. Record the agreed packing version alongside the product sample reference.
Send your pumpkin and ghost quantity plan to request a current quotation and packing confirmation. Include the destination and required warehouse receiving date so the commercial and logistics discussions use the same order.
