A custom push spinner artwork brief should identify the base SKU, the surface being decorated and the exact file version awaiting approval. Ask the supplier to confirm which customization methods are available for that product before creating finished artwork. A concept image can communicate a direction, but it does not prove that a design can be produced at the illustrated size or position.

This guide covers the handoff between a buyer's designer and the supplier. It focuses on artwork files and approvals rather than choosing a general package format. The customization scope, proofing steps, costs and quantity requirements need confirmation for the selected order.

Name the surface before sending the logo

“Put our logo on it” leaves several possible interpretations. The buyer may mean a label on the product, a decorated body, a printed retail card, an individual box or an outer display. State which surface you want and whether the product itself should remain unchanged.

Select the base model from the push spinner range and include its full SKU. Ask for the supplier's available decoration options and the artwork area for each proposed surface. Do not assume that all listed models support the same sticker, printing method or custom box.

If the supplier recommends a packaging-only option, keep that proposal distinct from a product-decoration quote. Both may be useful, but they produce different selling units and different approval tasks.

Obtain the actual layout or dieline

For a box or card, request the current production layout with panel names, folds, cut lines and any areas that must remain clear. Confirm the finished orientation before placing the artwork. A flat rectangle drawn from an approximate product size is not a substitute for the supplier's packaging layout.

For a product surface, ask for its usable area, curvature and any limits imposed by moving parts. A design that looks centered in a front-view mock-up may sit differently on the assembled item. Ask how placement will be demonstrated on a sample or proof.

Use the packaging guide when deciding the overall selling format. Once that decision is made, this file handoff should lock the specific layout used for artwork approval.

Prepare a file set with a clear purpose

Ask the supplier which source and review formats are required. Keep editable artwork, the intended output size, color references and a visual placement guide together. If special fonts or linked images are involved, resolve how those assets will be supplied before the file is treated as production-ready.

Avoid sending several unrelated files all called “final.” Give the artwork a version number and maintain one approval index. A revised logo, changed barcode or adjusted warning panel should create a traceable revision rather than overwrite the record silently.

Review placement on the assembled product

Check the front, back and any side that carries a design. Look at the product in its normal operating position as well as the position shown in the package. Confirm that the artwork does not obscure an instruction, create a misleading feature claim or interfere with the intended movement.

For a label proposal, ask how the label's position and finished appearance will be verified. For a printed package, inspect the folded proof as well as the flat design. An attractive flat layout can still put text on the wrong panel after assembly.

This review should document what was checked. It should not imply that an informal handling check proves print durability or long-term adhesion. If those properties are order requirements, ask for an agreed method and relevant evidence.

Match words and graphics to the exact version

A box showing a light effect should correspond to a confirmed light-up product. A diagram should show the actual operating method for the selected sample. Do not reuse a product family's artwork without checking whether the incoming SKU has the features pictured.

Reserve space for product identity, barcode and the market information determined for the order. The buyer should supply or review the content required for its destination and intended product classification. Do not add certification logos, performance numbers or health claims simply to fill a blank panel.

Proofread the text at the intended printed size. Review small text and multilingual layouts with the appropriate language reviewer. A correct sentence in the source document can become unreadable after being scaled down to fit a tiny panel.

Approve one production version

Record the approved SKU, artwork version, layout version, sample or proof reference and decision date. State what remains open. If product appearance is approved but a barcode is still pending, the file should not be described as fully approved for production.

When a later correction is needed, mark the superseded proof clearly and request confirmation that the revised version is the one to be used. Include the final artwork reference in the purchase order and keep it with the sample approval records.

To begin, send Ruiwo Toys your selected spinner SKU and branding brief with the target quantity, destination, preferred surface and current artwork status. Ask for feasibility, the applicable layout and the proofing sequence before committing the designer to a production file.
