Short answer: Compare ten Slush-style squishy SKUs by construction, sample feel, packing and retail wording before a wholesale order.
On this page
Slush-style squishies use a TPR outer skin with a viscous Slush filling reference. They feel fluid and heavy in the hand, with a soft rolling movement that differs from flour paste, PU foam and maltose gel.

Exact dimensions, unit weight and carton data: [Factory confirmation].
Slush is a product filling reference, not a drink or edible ingredient. The characteristic feel comes from a thick, mobile filling inside a flexible skin: it flows under pressure, feels heavier than foam and usually settles slowly after release.
How Slush feels compared with other fillings
| Filling | Hand feel | Typical visual or use role |
|---|---|---|
| Slush | Fluid, heavy and rolling | Novelty food and character shapes |
| Flour | Dense, mouldable and grainy | Low-cost squeeze toys |
| Maltose | Sticky, stringy and slow-flowing | Stretch and slow-movement novelty |
| PU foam | Light, compressible and gradual rebound | Large or slow-rising toys |
Most useful sample checks
- Press the centre and edge with the same ordinary pressure; record fluid movement and resistance.
- Release fully and watch whether the shape settles, leaks or needs reshaping.
- Inspect the fill plug and seam for an oily or wet film inside the bag.
- Leave the sample at room temperature, then compare after a cool and warm storage condition [Factory confirmation].
- Pack it in the intended OPP bag, display box or individual box and inspect for compression marks.
Common Slush quality problems
- Seepage: a weak fill plug, thin seam or excess internal pressure; inspect closure and bag film first.
- Sticky TPR: surface finish or heat exposure increases dust pickup.
- Colour transfer: surface coating or printed decoration rubs during packing.
- Layer separation: filling changes consistency after temperature cycling [Factory confirmation].
- Strong odour: fresh material or packaging needs airing before retail release [Factory confirmation].
Build a useful ten-SKU sample set
Choose one character, one food shape, one accessory shape and one seasonal style before adding every colour. Keep each SKU, colour, measured size, unit weight and selling unit on a separate row. Slush label alone does not make two shapes interchangeable.
Retail wording
Use “TPR novelty squishy with Slush filling reference” and describe the actual squeeze experience. Do not call it liquid-filled, leak-proof, food-safe, edible, skin-safe or therapeutic without documentation for the exact version. Food-shaped toys are not food and must stay away from young children.
Wholesale sample request
Please send current samples for [SKU list]. For each line, include TPR outer, Slush filling reference, dimensions, unit weight, closure, pack format, pieces/carton and carton dimensions. I will compare each sample using the same press-and-release test before approving the selected version.
