A corporate Christmas gift brief needs a recipient count, a product route, a packed selling unit and a delivery date. Put one SKU and one pack option on each quote line so squishy, keyboard and push-spinner gifts can be compared.
| Brief field | Example entry | Decision it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Recipients | 240 staff, 20 VIP boxes, 10 spare units | Pieces, displays and reserve quantity |
| Product route | Squishy, fidget keyboard or push spinner | Hand feel, age grade and feature file |
| Branding | Logo on toy, tag, bag, header card or box | Print method, proof and component MOQ |
| Pack | One sealed unit per person; 12-piece display for warehouse picking | Carton capacity and freight |
| Delivery | Receiving date, postcode and split by office | Sea, air or local handoff plan |
For ready-stock squishies, the standard starting minimum is 12 pieces per style; colour-only mixing can be possible while different sizes, shapes or fillings remain separate lines [Factory confirmation].
Choose the gift by recipient and setting
| Recipient or setting | Good starting product | Pack and message |
|---|---|---|
| Large staff giveaway | Small printed squishy or standard push spinner | OPP bag with logo sticker or tag; fast picking |
| Desk or remote-work gift | Fidget keyboard or quiet push spinner version | Colour box with a short care card; verify sound and battery version |
| VIP or client gift | Custom shape or coordinated two-piece set | Printed box and insert; allow sample and artwork rounds |
| Event booth | One repeated colour or logo route | Display box for replenishment and a spare percentage |
Do not use therapeutic claims in the message. Describe the press, squeeze, rotation or display function and keep age and warning text with the finished variant.

Write the quantity as selling units
Separate individual toys, display boxes and master cartons. “240 boxes” is ambiguous: it could mean 240 single colour boxes, 240 twelve-piece displays or 240 outer cartons. State the calculation, for example: 20 displays × 12 pieces = 240 individual gifts, plus 5% spare stock = 252 pieces. If the display is a 36-piece unit, use its own carton line.
| Quantity line | Record |
|---|---|
| Gift units | Number of people, VIP sets and spare percentage |
| Display units | Pieces per display and displays required for each office |
| Cartons | Pieces/carton, dimensions, net/gross weight and CBM |
| Variant mix | SKU, colour ratio and whether mixed cartons are allowed |
Plan the branded component
- Choose whether the brand stays on the toy, the tag, the bag, the header card or the box.
- Send vector artwork, Pantone references, barcode and warning copy in one revision file.
- Approve a physical or assembled proof that shows the SKU, pack count and logo position.
- Keep custom packaging minimums separate from the ready-stock toy minimum [Factory confirmation].
A printed sticker on a stock bag is usually the quickest first run. Direct printing on a soft, high-flex surface can crack or rub; confirm the position on the exact SKU.
Set a Christmas delivery plan
| Route | When it fits | Record |
|---|---|---|
| Ready stock by sea | Order placed early with a fixed receiving date | Carton count, booking and 45-day planning window [Forwarder confirmation] |
| Ready stock by air | Late demand or a small top-up | Packed unit dimensions and 10-day planning window [Forwarder confirmation] |
| Custom product | Only when sample, print and production dates fit | Approval date, tooling/production window and inspection release |
Use the Christmas deadline worksheet to work backward from the office receiving date. Add a separate line for each delivery address.
